HOW TO COMMISSION ARTWORK
Commissioned work is a great way to get something unique that you really want to enjoy, whether for you or a loved one. I’m happy to discuss ideas with you to get to a piece of work that has all the meaning and value you were hoping for.
1. Start the conversation! Shoot me an email at desiree@magpiecreations.art or fill out the form in my contact page here. Let’s talk about what you want to see!
2. Cost and Process. Once we’ve discussed and agreed upon a concept, size, and medium for a piece, you’ll receive a scope of work detailing the timeframe it will be completed in. Cost is determined on a per-hour price, with materials and a 20% contingency added in. All pieces are completed on a first-come, first-served basis, and I’ll do my best to work you in as quickly as possible.
3. Final Product. You’ll receive the final product, ready to hang (based on agreed upon options) all set for you to enjoy!
Note: I will make most things for most people. I prefer to make things that I like–as do most artists. I do not make portraits of people and pets. I hate them. They never make me happy, and rarely do they make the recipient happy. Other than those subjects, let’s talk about what you want to see!

HOW TO COMMISSION A MURAL
Before proceeding, please take a peek at my post about commissioning murals. That will give you a better sense of what to consider, the process, and the end results. If you’d like to proceed forward, let’s do it!
1. Start the conversation! Shoot me an email at desiree@magpiecreations.art or fill out the form in my contact page here. Let’s talk about what you want to see!
2. Let’s Meet! We’ll coordinate a time to discuss your space, concept and vision, process, cost, and timeframe. I’ll send you a sketch and scope of work from there, and we’ll get started! (Please note, this process is obviously geared towards locals living in the South-Eastern Wyoming/Northern Colorado areas. If you are located outside of these areas, we have to talk a little longer).
3. Complete the work! Once we’ve both agreed on everything we’ve discussed, I’ll get the work done and you’ll get to enjoy an awesome new piece!
