Hi there.
I’m Desirée, a visual artist in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I’ve been making things since I first started copying book cover illustrations at four.
Nowadays I make a lot of birds. And animals. And Plants. And whatever other weird fascinations I come up with. I often think of the world as slightly skewed, dystopian, and with just an edge of something surreal or dark underneath, and a lot of my artmaking reflects that feeling.
I have a degree in Art Education from the University of Northern Colorado. I’ve mostly used that degree to fuel my work in Community and Economic Development while implementing arts advocacy and programming here in Cheyenne.
